Hm, it’s been quite a while since my last post.
It’s too easy for me to turn into an observer. I’m hoping I can at least make myself more proactive on this Tumblr instead of reblogging 95% of the time.
Thing is, this job search—you know, looking for a fulfilling career that will support me and my student loan payments for at least a few years—is slow going. I expect that, definitely, but the process is tedious. Plus, I know I’m a hard worker—it’s in my family genes. My grandma is 90 years old and still volunteers. She ran three bars as a single mother, raising two boys. That work ethic carried on in my father and eventually to me. I’ve had steady jobs since I was 14 and I drive myself crazy without one.
So, here’s to keeping up with this blog and putting more of my thoughts into writing. There’s no excuse not to. It’s going to be as slow-going as the job search, I foresee, but I’m hoping I can find my way back into literature and creative writing and even proper grammar. Damn you, Science Degree, you made me forget my comma rules! But yeah…
Consider this my reeducation.
